EDUCATION
Handygo believes that the power of the mobile can be leveraged to truly empower lives. The mobile as a medium can be used to provide information which presently through the existing channels might not be reaching the needy in the rural areas.
This is the reason that while designing the Education Vertical of ‘Behtar Zindagi’ handygo team decided to move beyond defining education as just academic learning but defined it as having all Content or Information which leads to: Improving Livelihood and Transforming Lives. This ultimately we believe would be an enabler towards empowerment of the Rural People. Our offerings comprise of four sections:
a) Children’s Welfare
b) Better Life for Family
c) Self Improvement / Employment
d) Empowerment
Through Children’s welfare we give encouragement to rural people to send their children to schools. This we do through educating them about:
• State Wise Government Incentives for Primary Education
• Scholarships and financial incentives for students by the Government
Behtar Zindagi also provide an option to utilize the government schemes which results in increase of their income educate people about Self Employment Schemes for which Government gives loans under the Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Yojna and other programs.
In Self Improvement, we provide an extensive English Language Learning module through which people can learn English through their vernacular language by listening to voice module on their own phone and can practice the same.Concepts and Technologies like Organic farming and solar energy under the head Education are specially designed for rural areas to enhance their daily working
