eINDIA 2009 was a three day international conference and exhibition towards different domains of ICT for development.
Handygo participated in eINDIA 2009 as an Associate Sponsor – e Agriculture to showcase its initiative in the field of m-governance through an IVRS(Interactive Voice Response Service) mobile service named BEHTAR ZINDAGI on 55678.
The objective was to meet together ICT experts, practitioners, business leaders, stakeholders and the industry through keynote addresses, paper presentations, thematic workshops and the exhibition.During the event we interact with diverse public and private initiatives of ICT for development in the field of :-

Behtar Zindagi mobile service on IVRS is an infotainment service having advisory on agriculture, managing livestocks, Mandi rates, weather forecast and advisories, women and child Health care, Education, Rural Finance and advisory on coastal Fisheries. The key audiences were Policy Planners and Decision makers, Rural Community Organisations, Management cadre from Agri Industry, NGOs working on Agriculture and Rural Development, Personnel from Commodity Exchange Boards, Members from Central and State Agriculture Research and Education Institutions, Researchers, Scholars and
Agri-Entrepreneurs.
The response towards the service after knowing that dissemination of information in 18 regional languages and PAN India presence with distinguished alliances made the service notable among the participants too. Audience’s expert advise and feedback was encouraging, it not only raised the confidence of the project team members in the service but also helped in taking the project to next level.
Platforms like eINDIA proved an important mile stone in the jourrney of “BEHTAR ZINDAGI” in creating an awareness, making the initiative heard and collecting feedback among the most relevant public bodies which resulted in important Public Private Partnerships.
