On seeing the Increase in number of health related deaths in rural Areas due to lack of health awareness, Gaps in Healthcare Delivery, Lack of Feedback/response mechanism , Handygo took initiative to enable the rural masses to use mobile as a medium for improving access to information on health, where distance forms a critical factor. In short, ‘Ab Doctor apki zeb mein’ (Now, the doctor is in your pocket)’
Our main focus is accessibility, affordability, accountability in primary health care information. Information available on 55678 is
1) Health related schemes and campaigns (For e.g. Janani Suraksha Yojna, Arogya Kosh, etc.)
2) Women Health (especially divided into the adolescence, pregnancy and reproductive health)
3) Child Health (e.g. child related diseases and nutrition)
4) Common Diseases (e.g. Vector borne diseases, infectious diseases and nutritional disorders)
5) Better Health (Hygiene & Sanitation, Home made remedies and healthy eating)
6) Complaints regarding any malfunctioning in the process of schemes and campaigns to which they are entitled.
Handygo has tied up with CARE India – a leading global humanitarian organization, working on health and education issues to provide health related content for “Behtar Zindagi”.
